The Honor 7 has been launched in India, somewhat after its Chinese launch. The Honor 7 is the company’s flagship handset and offers some good features at its mid-range price.
Honor is now the smartphone arm of Huawei. The Honor 7 has been launched at Rs. 22999 and has an exciting challenge ahead – to match up with the line of phones it comes from. The previous Honor smartphones had done well for themselves by offering exciting features at a competitive price and the Honor 7 seems to be following the same strategy. Yet, it has stepped into a much more competitive market with many brands trying to eke away a share of the Indian smartphone market.
So what new feature does the Honor 7 offer this time?
It offers a 5.2-inch full HD display made with in-cell technology, a fingerprint scanner and a multi-function smart key. Under the hood, the Honor 7 comes with Huawei’s own Kirin 935 processor, 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage.
The highlight of the device, though, is its 20-megapixel rear cam which comes with Autofocus, a Sony IMX230 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, dual-LED flash and what Huawei calls 6P lenses. The 8-megapixel front cam is powerful too and comes with f/2.0 aperture, BSI Sensor and LED flash.
The Honor 7 runs on Android Lollipop and houses a 3100 mAh battery inside. It will be available at Flipkart starting October 15, once again, at the price of Rs. 22,999.
