4th Delhi International Film Festival – World Cinema in Delhi

The Delhi International Film Festival had it’s opening ceremony at Central Park C.P. which turned out to be a grand event. The opening ceremony had eminent personalities – Manish Sisodia, Jacquiline Fernandez, Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia, Sudhir Misra, Big Boss 2 winner Ashutosh Kaushik.

Jacquiline Fernandez shared her experience of her first English film ‘Definition of Fear‘.The story of the film revolves around four girls who holiday in an old mansion in the forest and how their holiday turns out into a fearful trap causing their death. Along with Jacqueline, Catherine Barrel, Blythe Hubbard, Mercedes Papilla and Mathew Stephuik have essayed prime roles in the film.

Definition of Fear was also screened at the event along with a Spanish movie ‘Zero‘.

The 4th Delhi International Film Festival 2015 will showcase more than 210 films from 6th -10th December 2015. It has always promised great and insightful movies from all over the world.

This entertaining experience came reached its culmination with the stars along with Ram Kishore Parcha thanking everyone.

The starcast of ‘Definition of Fear’

 Highlights of the Film Festival

  • 219 films from 69 countries will be showcased in 6 days.
  • International Showcase of Artwork from 130 artist across the world
  • Seminars on Film Market, Animation and Indian Film Market
  • Russian documentary on Raj Kapoor, “Comrade Raj Kapoor“, will be the closing film of the festival and will mark the conclusion of the Indian Film Festival.

About Delhi International Film Festival

Delhi International Film Festival was conceptualized by The Social Circle in 2012 to celebrate the 100 year of Indian Cinema. Ever since then it has been growing and becoming bigger year after year. In January 2016, Delhi International Film Festival will collaborate with A.R.Y. channel, Pakistan and in June 2016, will feature World Cinema along with Indian Cinema in Israel.

Movies will be screened at the NDMC Convention Centre from 9:00 AM to 7:45 PM everyday.
