We had a little time with the device at the launch. Here’s what we think of it.
Oppo F1: First Impressions
Right from the first look, this device looks sleek. It fits right in the hand. The device is very light although a little slippery.
Display and front feel
The display lights up well while the bezels have been kept thin. Generally, the device responded well. The physical touch buttons are now outdated, but some people do prefer them.
The back of the device has a smooth feel to it.
The metal frame all over the device looks good and the device is surprisingly light.
OS and UI
The color OS is something that needs a little work. It is one of those UIs that makes you wish that the company would have opted for a stock OS.
In the short time we had with it, the device camera performed well. Indoor images that we took looked good until we zoomed in too much.
The front cam images were a little over softened.
Apart from that, the camera can be over exposed in sunlight.
But despite that, we got vivid and detailed shots. It is definitely a light, easy phone to use for selfies. Overall, for a price of Rs. 15,990 – it is definitely a device you can consider.
