Summer is around and it is the time to get all blues, hues, cottons and straps out. Latin Quarters has created its collections inspired by women’s desires. The theme of this Spring-Summer collection is to add colour to sultry summer days.
About the Collection
This collection includes exclusively created western and Indo-western wear. They give you the choice of simple, or mix-and-match dressing. It has a lovable yet exclusive collection of tops, shirts, tunics and dresses and skirts.
The designs come with opulent fabrics that range from net, Georgette, cottons and the dresses are very functional. They not only take care of your summer needs making your body breathe but also hide the little flaws in your figure.
When you enter the store you find that the collection is separated and arranged according to the theme, designs, and patterns. The one I loved the most was their bright and happy collection of prints and embroideries.
Apart from the dresses, there is also a section of accessories and bags. On my recent visit to the store, I happened to pick and choose and style myself from Latin Quarters SS’16 collection and I found it inspirational and beautiful.
The first look that I tried was a red sleeveless shirt with silver and black embroidery around the armhole. I teamed it up with a golden hand cuff and gold and white earring. The long earrings accentuated the shape of my face and the red top hid the bulges around the waistline.
I loved the top as it was airy and didn’t stick to my body making it quite suitable for the summers.
The next dress was a printed blue dress that had slits on both the sides. The line that vertically goes right through the middle gets the attention to the height of a person.
This dress would look good on taller girls or if you plan to wear a bit of heel. The green and blue combination makes a soothing mix and a hint of Indian design make it an all occasion dress.
The last look was with a top in digital prints. I was a bit apprehensive when I first decided to try it on as the cats were something that I thought would otherwise look kiddish. Yet, this one too stood out just like my other two.
The cat print took away the attention from my torso as the focus shifted to the prints.
The little hints of the black of the top and on the sides also helped to hide the extra celluloid.er
What we expect more
While we loved all that Latin Quarter SS16 had to offer we certainly missed the shorts, capris, leggings, jeggings and trousers. These too hold a special place in a girl’s summer wardrobe and are great for everyday wear. I think the brand can introduce a clothing line of lowers at any point of time and will be loved all the more for it.
Latin Quarters SS16 offers a wearable yet stylish and elegant collection that we loved flaunting. This collection is very affordable ranging between the price range INR 1500-5000 for apparels and Rs. 199 onwards for accessories.
